Las Adelitas are a collective of indigenous, artisan women. Las Adelitas point out the emergency of making visible the work that women do in the coffee plantation and daily life to have access to their human rights putting at the center their life, reproductive care and work.

They are 23 Women of coffee whose purpose is to rescue organic coffee farming, their food sovereignty and the conservation of the environment. They are women originally from Tenango de Doria, a municipality known for the "Tenangos" (colorful embroidery embodied in different garments). Historically, indigenous communities and women in Hidalgo, and in much of the country had participated in the production and quality of coffee but were excluded from marketing and economic remuneration. However, at the time of organizing themselves within the union of cooperatives of the "Laguna Region" Las Adelitas sought to be visible and this occurred through workshops, training, exchange of experiences. They decided to be the protagonists of the production and commercialization of their crops.
